As global companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Google flock to this island, many other tech companies, financial service providers, cryptocurrency firms, and digital nomad freelancers are following suit.

Key Benefits of Incorporating a Company in Cyprus

1.Favorable Tax System

Cyprus offers a corporate tax rate of just 12.5%, the lowest in the EU.

  • Capital gains tax on the sale of shares, cryptocurrency investment, foreign exchange trading, dividends, and rental income does not apply to non-residents.
  • Cyprus has signed double tax treaties with over 65 countries, ensuring that businesses are not double-taxed on their income.

2.EU and Commonwealth Member

Since Cyprus is a member of the European Union (EU), it has access to the EU single market, allowing for the free movement of goods, services, and capital. At the same time, Cyprus is also a member of the Commonwealth, making access to the UK market, which has left the EU, more convenient.

This is particularly advantageous for corporations considering business expansion across Europe, as it facilitates payments and fund transfers via SEPA. SEPA transfers are one of the fastest, simplest, and safest methods for transferring funds across the Eurozone. Additionally, as an EU member state, Cyprus does not carry the negative reputation associated with other tax havens.
